Educational qualification
01 Forensic Engineering: B.E. in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent i.e. B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Production Engineering. 02 Physics: M.Sc. in First or Second Class in Physics or equivalent (Tech. Physics, Material Science, Nuclear Physics, Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Applied Physics, Instrumentation, Five Integrated M.Sc. Physics, Geo Physics, Nano Science, Nano Technology, Electronic Communications). 03 Chemistry: M.Sc. in First or Second Class in Chemistry or equivalent, or B.Sc. Degree with A.I.C by examination in Forensic Sciences. 04 Biology: M.Sc. in 1st or 2nd Class in Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or equivalent (Bio-Technology, Genetics, Forensic Science) or a Degree in Medicine with a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics). NOTE: exceptionally good eye-sight (colour blindness a disqualification); must have practical experience in a Forensic Science or Chemistry or Analytical or Police Laboratory for at least five years; experience in relevant field is desirable. Qualification to be possessed as on the date of Detailed Notification.
