Privacy Policy

This page explains what AlKra-MockTest collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by AlKra-MockTest ("we"). It is an independent practice portal and is not connected with the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.

What we collect

• Account details. You log in with your Google (Gmail) account. From Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture link; we never see your Google password. On the registration form you give us your mobile number.
• Registration details. The form you fill at first login: full name, mobile number, date of birth, gender, community (for example OC, BC-A, SC-I or ST), state and district, highest qualification, and the exams you are preparing for.
• Your test activity. The tests you start, each answer you choose, questions you mark for review, the time you spend on each question, your scores, and the language you choose.
• Technical data. Like every website, our hosting providers record the IP address, browser type and time of each request in their logs.

We do not ask for your full postal address, government ID numbers or APPSC registration details. Please do not send them to us.

Why we use it

• To let you log in and keep your tests on your account.
• To check that you are 18 or older, and to contact you about your account, your tests or a payment.
• To understand, in combined figures, who uses the portal (for example by district, qualification, community or exam) so that we can plan tests and content. Your community is used only for such combined figures. It is never shown to other students and never affects your tests or scores.
• To score your tests and show your results, answer keys and performance report.
• To improve the question bank, for example by finding questions that most students get wrong or that may contain an error. For this we look at combined figures, not at you personally.
• To keep the site secure and to stop misuse.
• To reply when you write to us.

We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertisements or use advertising trackers.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. They are set when you log in and removed when you log out. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Who handles your data for us

We use these service providers to run the site. They process data only on our instructions:

• Supabase stores the database and handles login.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Google confirms your identity when you choose "Continue with Google".

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside India. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and test history for as long as your account exists, so that your performance report stays complete. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, attempts and answers within 30 days. Copies in routine backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

Your choices and rights

• See your details and test history at any time under My account and My performance.
• Correct your registration details yourself under My account, or ask us to correct them.
• Ask us to delete your account and everything linked to it.
• Withdraw your consent. As the site cannot work without an account, this means deleting the account.
• Complain to us if you think we have handled your data wrongly. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these, write to us at the address below from the email address or mobile number of your account. We reply within 30 days.

Age

The site is meant for people aged 18 and above who are preparing for recruitment examinations. If you are under 18, please do not create an account.

Security

Connections to the site are encrypted. Access to the database is limited by per-user rules, so one student cannot read another student's attempts. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and its date. If the change is significant, for example when online payments are added, we will also tell you on the site. See also our Terms of Use.
