Educational qualification
Bachelor's Degree with (i) Statistics as one of the main subjects; OR (ii) Mathematics as a main subject (with Statistics as a paper in one, two or all three years); OR (iii) Economics as a main subject (with Statistics as a paper in one/two/all three years); OR (iv) Commerce as a main subject (with Statistics as a paper in one/two/all three years); OR (v) Computer Science as a main subject (with Statistics as a paper in one/two/all three years) - from a University established/incorporated under a Central or State Act, an institution deemed a University under Sec. 3 of the UGC Act 1956, or a foreign University approved by the Central Government. Must be held as on the date of Detailed Notification.
